Do I Need A Website To Start A Business?
Can I Run A Successful Business Without A Website?
Nope. No, you don't need a website to start a business. I started my web design and social media marketing business without a website or a social media presence. So, I can tell you that you'll be just fine. Nice websites cost money. Yes, there's plenty of places where you can build a free website. But, will it be nice? It might. It might not. But, guess what's free and nice? Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and so many other platforms. There's plenty of small businesses that fully operate through Facebook and Instagram DMs. I admit it may not be as convenient at first. But, it'll get the job done.
The Truth About Starting A Business
The most important part of starting a small business is starting. Ask yourself if you're using the need for a website as an excuse for why you haven't started or if your business really needs one. If you're a local business that meets your customers in person, then you can definitely start without a website. If you want to sell online try creating an Etsy shop.

Is Your Real Issue Perfectionism?
My wish for you is that you accept this tough love and stop using the lack of a website as a reason not to start your business. If you're confident in your web design skills, then consider trying out WordPress, Squarespace or Shopify. But, get started. Facebook has so many options to support small businesses. They even have an Etsy style shop that you can build on your page.
